Season 29 Progression

Written by Team Bells at 22:36 2/7-2014

Since the last press release we have been frantically training Benedikt Manstein to help the team gain more money, results & points in the aim to save money to replace Keith Fern at the best and nearest convenience.
As we only have 9 riders we'll need to buy before we release which is a bit of an headache.

  Our resent results have been:
Lessi, 43 Edition Keith Fern 10th & Kishor Liuni 14th
Hakuba Village Race, Japan, 43 Edition. Kishor Liuni 5th & Crosby Hansen 11th.
Orreaga, Auritz, Spain 42 Edition. Kishor Liuni 5th.

  Out of 6 races.

Am I better buying a cheap rider so I can realese the value in Keith Fern to buy a better rider? (Giving an immediate result but possible flop of a cheap rider)
  Or
Scout a rider that has potential and realese Keith Fern to use the money to train the riders? (Giving an good potential rider but no immediate results)

Your veiws would be much appreciated.

  oh, they cut me...
  ...energy bars.
  4. Find a young talent and train him. in 2 seasons You should have a rider who is still young (24yo) , will serve you for 6 seasons and good enough to lift you up to div 7.
  5. Repeat with new trainee.

My advice is a long term plan.
  1. Release Fern
  2. Buy 2 guys for 29k, and save the rest. Keep releasing riders for 32K (with high dp) and buy ones for 29K (with low dp) from transfer list - you will earn 2-3k on each such transfer.
  3. In the meantime Liuni would score some points so save the money as well. Try to signup for races where small amount of other teams do. Use canteens and energy ba

Despite his age liuni I should do ok in your division. If I were you I would sell the 2 staff who are not health and service to raise money for the 29k you need to empty ferm. Race breakaway for ts and jobs till you have the cash. Invest in cheap climbing riders and you'll move up soon in enough. Then repeat the process and replace liuni when you can afford too.

Hey Scott, I think your best option is to free fern and use his funds to buy a captain who is maximum 32/33. At 39 his stats are long reduced. Specialise all your team mates in the same discipline as your captain in the lower divisions.High dp and team spirit win races.
